India is an agrarian country. Water management is of critical importance to Indian agriculture. While the irrigated area in the country has almost doubled since independence it is believed that the irrigated area can not exceed 50% of the cultivable area with the conventional methods of irrigation even if the irrigation potential is fully utilized. To address this judicious and improved methods / technologies for harnessing maximum benefits from available water resources to enhance crop productivity without affecting soil health. After detailed study of inter-ralationship among soil, water, crop, land terrain and agro climatic conditions. Paras design a suitable and economically viable system to deliver a measured quantity of water at the root zone of each plant at regular intervals, to ensure that the plants do not suffer from over or under watering. The system installed at the farmers field is commissioned and later training is imparted to the farmer, followed by regular service support. Through the continuous development efforts, PARAS made the drip irrigation system to suit all type of soils, crops and agro climatic conditions.
